About Us

Welcome to the Depakote Blog. As people who have suffered the side effects of the drug we want to warn all readers about taking Depakote in certain situations. Pregnant women are particularly at risk and should be protected from the awful birth defects that taking Depakote while pregnant can bring.

On this blog we will be publishing regular articles that explain more and more about this anti depressant and what harm it can do if you don’t know the facts. The articles will be based on personal experiences and written by people that have experienced problems after using the drug. This website is for informational purposes only and you must consult a qualified doctor if you are considering taking Depakote.

We believe that this site is a one of a kind. I have looked around the Internet and could not find a blog or website that was totally devoted to one drug. You should take comfort from that as there will be no other subjects discussed here. We are not against the drug – it has proven to help a lot of people who have suffered with depression but the side effects are varied and all too commonly suffered by those that take it.

If you want to make a personal contribution to this blog with your own Depakote experiences we would be delighted to hear from you. You can contact us here. We sincerely hope through the dedication of contributors that we can get the message out to all those who are suffering with depression to let them know the risks. It will be much easier to do that if you can share our content on your social profiles such as Facebook and Twitter. We thank you in advance for doing this.

We sincerely hope that you get all of the information that you need about Depakote on this site. If you can’t find what you are looking for then please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help you. We know what it is like to be faced with a dilemma: “do I take this medicine to help me with my depression or do I battle it out?” It is not an easy question to answer and drugs should never be entirely discounted as they can help. Unfortunately we do not have perfect bodies and what can help one area of our system can hurt another area.

We wish you luck in your battle against depression.
